Roslin Chapel manuscripts acquired by CRC

We have purchased at auction a large collection of medieval Scottish charters, in Scots and in Latin, dated between 1400 and 1700. They include charters relating to Roslin Chapel, many large and impressive wax seals, and royal charters by James VI & I and William II & III. There are more than 65 items in this collection, which will be of interest to people researching prominent Scottish families and the medieval period generally.
