New Scottish astronomical manuscript

We have just added an important item to the collections: a manuscript written about 1676 by a Scot, William Baird, which deals with mathematics, law and astronomy. This is of interest to people researching the history of science in Scotland. As yet, no-one has looked at this item in the reading room - who will be the first?
